Family Photo Session With Grandparents
I LOVE a photo session that includes grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins!
This was my second photo session with this family this year… and boy did we have fun!
I originally did a Mini Christmas Card Session for One of the Adult siblings (see that session here)
(Side Note: that family was referred to me by 2 different friends (see them here and here ) and because of their referrals they each received more prints from their sessions)
The mom contacted me a couple of weeks later about shooting again when everyone was together over the holidays. She said that her 2 teenagers had so much fun at our first session that they wanted to do it again (oh, be still my heart)
After we all got settled in (I have a few tricks up my sleeve that make everyone laugh and relax). One of my priorities was capturing these two. After 50 years of marriage I am sure they could tell many tales, and teach us all some lessons about marriage!
I love starting with classic portraits with the adult kids.
Then layered in a bunch of photos with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and grandkids
And then we just had fun, snuggled, laughed a BUNCH and threw in some hugs and kisses along the way.
We shot right at sunset in one of my favorite places in Vestavia Hills, Alabama
May favorite part is how these all ended up on the wall together!
