Senior Pictures and Graduation Pictures in Birmingham, Alabama

What to Expect from Your Senior Photo Sessions:

Before your session
I’ll walk you through all of the planning so nothing feels overwhelming. I’ll reach out with a few questions to get a feel for your style, then send you a list of location options to choose from.

As you’re deciding what to wear, you can text me photos along the way. We’ll narrow it down together and choose outfits that fit your style and personality and work with the location where we are shooting your session

During your session
I’ll guide you the entire time so you’re never left wondering what to do. It’s relaxed, easy, and a lot of fun. You don’t have to “know how to pose” — I’ll take care of that so you can just be yourself.

After your session
You’ll receive a full gallery of edited images, and every image is yours to keep. Everything is included, so you don’t have to worry about choosing favorites or leaving images behind.

Photo Session FAQ’s

  • I recommend my seniors bring 3 outfits to a shoot. One dressier, One casual, and one with a logo from high school or college. Cap and gown is an option as well.

  • I have about 6 or 7 favorite locations. When we start our conversation (by text or chat) we will decide together which of the locations fits your style.

Here are some of the options to choose from Senior Locations

  • The average session lasts about an hour to and hour and 15 minutes

  • Yes, you do! You can choose anywhere you would like to print your images.

Note - My photos are edited to print on high quality calibrated machines. While big box printers are ok, the coloring on prints will vary from place to place.

  • I do!

I have a referral plan that is set up to build on itself… in other words, the more referrals the book with your name the more money you get off of your shoot. Be sure to ask me about it when we text or chat

  • In the photography world we use the term “Golden Hour”. This refers to the time of day where the sun is just about to dib below that horizon. Golden Hour gives great light that is not only golden, but a little softer.

Please feel free to let me know if a different time of day works better for you. We can definitely shoot earlier if needed.

  • In Alabama we never know what the weather will offer us, right?

Clouds are a perfect filter for the sun, so while we may not get the golden sunlight… there are other benefits to overcast skies!

If it is raining I will give you the option of moving to one of 2 indoor locations (that I love) or rescheduling

  • Lifestyle Photography is a style of photography that captures people in natural, real-life moments with minimal posing. It focuses on authentic interactions, emotions, and storytelling rather than formal, stiff portraits. The goal is to create images that feel candid and genuine.

My Senior Sessions are full of movement and laughter. Get ready to have fun!

  • All you need to do is show up with the attitude “this is going to be fun”.

While “lifestyle photography” looks candid, I actually am going to direct you in all of the steps as we achieve that look!

  • Absolutely! My style is a hybrid of the classic portrait and lifestyle. Your gallery will have a great mixture of both.

  • Absolutely! I believe in printing and displaying family photos (not just professional ones but snapshots from your phone as well). I will gladly help with any print, framing or layout designs you need!
