There is something really special about this stage of life.
She is finishing up her time at Hoover High School, and instead of wondering what comes next, she already knows. Samford is where she is headed. The place she will be walking into in just a few short months is already familiar, So we met there.
We took her senior photos on Samford’s campus, right in front of the Harwell Goodwin Davis Library (which is a classic photo location for Samford Students). I love this spot because of the clean lines, beautiful architecture, and the amazing afternoon light.
What I loved most about this session was how natural it felt. There was no trying to be something she is not. No overthinking. Just a girl who is stepping into her next chapter with a quiet kind of confidence.
That is what I always hope for in a senior session. Not something forced. Not something overly styled. Just something that feels like you when you look back on it years from now.
Samford is one of my favorite locations for senior photos in the Birmingham area for this exact reason. It photographs beautifully, but more importantly, it means something. When a location matters to you, it shows in the images.
